Cheapest OCI service UK — £149
The OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) card is the service with the widest price spread among UK agents. The work is identical everywhere — completing the ociservices.gov.in form, preparing documents, resizing photos to the exact 51×51mm specification and preparing you for the VFS appointment — but fees range from £149 to over £300.

Whichever provider you choose, the ~£215 government/VFS fee is paid by you at the appointment and cannot be discounted. Re-issues after a passport renewal and PIO-to-OCI conversions are also £149 with Sorted, and the Surrender + OCI bundle is £199 (saving £29) for new British citizens.
Cheapest Indian passport renewal UK — £99
Renewal runs on the Passport Seva portal followed by a BLS International appointment. Sorted's £99 covers the application, document preparation and appointment help — including Tatkal (urgent) cases, name changes and children's first passports. The government/BLS fee is ~£20–40 (standard). Standard renewals take 3–4 weeks from the appointment; Tatkal under 2 weeks.
Cheapest Indian visa service UK — £129

Cheapest surrender certificate service UK — £79
Surrendering your Indian passport after British citizenship is mandatory before OCI. Sorted's fee is £79 — agencies commonly charge £100+. The government fee is about £22 including the VFS charge. Most new British citizens should take the Surrender + OCI bundle at £199 instead, which sequences both applications correctly.
Cheapest NRI PAN card service UK — £69 all-inclusive
This is the one service where Sorted's price includes the government fee and postage — £69 total, nothing more to pay. Comparable UK services advertise at around £125. e-PAN typically arrives in 7–12 days; the physical card in 20–25 days. No VFS appointment is needed.
Cheapest PCC (Police Clearance Certificate) service UK — £79
An Indian PCC for emigration or employment costs £79 with Sorted — around £100 elsewhere — covering the Passport Seva application, document preparation and VFS booking. The government fee is about £15–20 plus the VFS service charge, paid at your appointment. Typical turnaround: 1–3 weeks.
Cheapest Form I birth registration service UK — £99
Registering a UK-born baby as an Indian citizen (Form I on indiancitizenshiponline.nic.in) is £99 with Sorted, plus a ~£35 government fee on the day. Timing matters — it must be done within one year of birth, before the child holds another nationality's passport. The New Baby Complete bundle (Form I + Passport + OCI) is £279, saving £68.
How to compare providers fairly
- Ignore the government fees in adverts. They're identical everywhere and paid by you at the appointment — a provider quoting "from £25" is quoting the government fee, not their own.
- Check what the service fee includes. Photo resizing to portal spec, document checks and query/resubmission support are where cheap-looking offers quietly add extras.
- Ask about query support. If the consulate raises a query, Sorted resubmits free. Some agents charge again.
- Factor in the rejection risk. A "free" DIY application that gets queried costs weeks — and sometimes a rebooked appointment fee.
